Abstract
Poverty remains one of the most pressing socio-economic challenges in Pakistan, affecting millions of people and hindering sustainable economic development. In response to these challenges, various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have played an important role in providing social welfare services and supporting vulnerable communities. This research study examines the contribution of Saylani Welfare International Trust in poverty alleviation and its role in promoting prospects for a stable economy in Pakistan. The study analyzes key initiatives undertaken by Saylani Welfare, including food distribution programs, healthcare services, educational support, vocational and IT training, and employment generation schemes. Through these initiatives, the organization aims to empower underprivileged individuals by improving access to basic necessities and enhancing economic opportunities. The research highlights how such welfare programs help reduce poverty, improve living standards, and contribute to human capital development. Furthermore, the study explores the broader economic implications of charitable and welfare organizations in strengthening social safety nets and supporting sustainable development. The findings suggest that Saylani Welfare plays a significant role in complementing government efforts in poverty reduction and socio-economic development. The study concludes that expanding similar welfare initiatives and promoting collaboration between the government, private sector, and non-profit organizations can contribute to long-term economic stability and poverty alleviation in Pakistan.
