About the Journal
Ihya ul Ulum is an annual trilingual peer-reviewed research journal of the Department of Qur'an & Sunnah, University of Karachi, first published in 2000. The journal provides an academic platform for the dissemination of original, high-quality research in Islamic Studies and related disciplines. It publishes scholarly articles in English, Urdu, and Arabic, thereby promoting academic dialogue among researchers and scholars from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
The journal is approved by the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), University of Karachi, and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in the Y Category.
