Abstract

Dua is the spirit and essence of worship. Therefore, Allah Almighty has ordered Muslims for supplication in the noble Qur’an. Allah Almighty has taught us beautiful & comprehensive supplications in the Holy Quran.  That’s why the status of dua or supplication in the Holy Qur’an is great and its position is sublime. In Qur’an, Allah has mentioned various supplications of different prophets, pious and general people that clearly indicate its significance, reward, need and importance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the various forms of supplications mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. The method used for the research is descriptive and qualitative. This article presents a summary and different forms of Quranic supplication by the prophets, pious and common man.
